Lake Wanaka Language Centres believes:
- Class sizes
should be small.
- Language courses should be functional and reflect how a person actually uses the language. We use the European Framework indicators rather
than more academic measurements.
- Classes
should be student centred and encourage students to continue learning
outside the classroom.
- Previous language experience should be acknowledged. We use the European Framework
Passport to record your language experience with us.
- Some
vocabulary and grammar is more frequent and therefore more useful and so should be taught first.
- New
language should be recycled. We provide a number of activities outside the
classroom to reuse and build upon the day's lessons.
