Sharon is part owner of the school and Director of Studies. She has an MA in Applied Linguistics, a BA in Psychology and a Trinity College TESOL certificate. She has worked closely with the IELTS test for many years.
Sharon has taught in a number of universities, schools and organisations around the world, including:

- Massey University, Wellington, New Zealand
- Victoria University, Wellington, New Zealand
- Akita Minami High School, Akita, Japan
- Capital Language Academy, Wellington, New Zealand
- Australian Centre for Education, Phnom Penh, Cambodia
She has set up a number of reading programs and self access centres and is especially interested in adult literacy. Sharon has designed and taught general English, business English, English for specific purposes, IELTS, TOEFL & TOEIC preparation, academic and government language programs.
Sharon enjoys cycling, swimming, climbing, movies and dancing.
